Lizandra Bailey set up Astute Legal out of a desire to be do things differently. Lizandra has over 25 years' experience providing legal advice to clients in her position as inhouse counsel for a leading insurance company and in various well known mid sized law firms in Auckland, New Zealand. She firmly believes that with the experience she has gained in these roles that she is well positioned to provide clients with the expert yet practical legal advice they need to be able to make the decisions for their businesses or personal situations. Her clients range from well known franchisors and business owners to high net worth individuals to individuals wanting to purchase a home to live in.

"I believe in providing my clients with practical legal advice, I respect the fact that they are the experts in their business and that what they really need is a lawyer who can provide them with practical yet expert legal advice to help them make the decisions they need to make. I believe that I am going on a journey with my clients and it is my role to provide them with the guidance they need to make each step of that journey as easy as it can be. If they have a problem which needs solving it is my job to take that problem and work with my client to find a solution. I truly believe that being a lawyer is a privileged role. My clients trust me to help them make decisions on matters that are very close to their hearts. This is something I take extremely seriously."
